Before & After Pictures

SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® is a modified hyaluronic acid gel that’s injected as intradermal
microdroplets below the surface of the skin, increasing hydration to improve smoothness and
reduce fine lines. SKINVIVE™ helps the skin retain its natural moisture and softness. We also
love using it for vertical lip lines (“smoker’s lines” or “lipstick lines”) around the mouth. It
hydrates the lines without creating a “ledge.”

Frequently Asked Questions

How does SKINVIVE™ work?

SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® is injected as tiny, intradermal microdroplets of hyaluronic acid
within the dermis layer, so you won’t see any change in the shape or volume of your face or
lips—just healthier looking skin for a lasting glow. Lidocaine is an ingredient in SKINVIVE™ by
JUVÉDERM® to keep you comfortable

Is it safe for all skin types?

YES, SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® is a skin-quality treatment that works beneath the surface to
improve smoothness for healthier-looking skin, no matter your skin type or tone.

How often will I need to repeat SKINVIVE™?

The results of SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® are clinically proven to last up to 6 months with
optimal treatment. An optional touch up may be needed to achieve the desired aesthetic
effect, so we recommend seeing your healthcare provider every 6 months.

Is SKINVIVE™ a Dermal Filler?

Since SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® is hyaluronic acid, it is technically a dermal filler. However, the
modified hyaluronic acid in SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® is designed to improve smoothness and
hydrate from within, for smooth texture and a radiant glow without changing your face or lip
shape or volume.

What precautions should be taken post treatment?

Minimize strenuous exercise, exposure to extensive sun or heat, and alcoholic beverages within
the first 24 hours following treatment

What are the possible side effects?

The most commonly reported side effects were redness, lumps/bumps, swelling, bruising, pain,
tenderness, firmness, discoloration, and itching. Most side effects will resolve within 7 days. If
they persist longer, contact your healthcare provider.
