Proper aftercare helps ensure your comfort and enhances your results. Please follow the
guidelines below for the best outcome from your treatment.
Immediately After Treatment
- Redness, tightness, and mild sensitivity are normal and usually resolve within a few hours to a few days.
- The skin may feel dry, warm, or slightly swollen.
- Do not touch, rub, or pick at the treated area.
- Avoid makeup until the following day, or longer if your skin feels sensitive.
First 24–48 Hours
- Use only gentle cleansers and hydrating, fragrance-free moisturizers.
- Avoid active skincare ingredients (retinoids, vitamin C, glycolic/salicylic acids, benzoyl peroxide).
- Do not exfoliate, scrub, or use cleansing brushes.
- Stay out of direct sunlight; apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily.
- Avoid strenuous exercise, hot tubs, or saunas that may increase irritation.
First Week
- Expect dryness, flaking, or peeling as the skin renews itself — do not pick or peel.
- Continue with a gentle skincare routine until peeling has fully resolved.
- Avoid facials, waxing, microneedling, or laser treatments on the treated area.
- Keep skin well moisturized and reapply sunscreen throughout the day.
Healing Timeline
- Redness and tightness: typically resolve in 1–3 days.
- Peeling/flaking: begins around 2–4 days post-treatment and may last up to 7 days.
- Final result: visible once peeling has subsided, with smoother, brighter, and healthier-looking skin.
- Series of treatments: often recommended for best results.
