Proper aftercare helps ensure your comfort and enhances your results. Please follow the
guidelines below for the best outcome from your treatment.
Immediately After Treatment
- Redness, swelling, or a mild sunburn-like sensation is normal and may last a few hours to a few days.
- You may apply a cool compress to soothe the skin.
- Do not rub, scratch, or pick at the treated area.
- Avoid makeup for at least 12–24 hours or until skin sensitivity resolves.
First 24–48 Hours
- Avoid hot showers, saunas, strenuous exercise, or anything that overheats the skin.
- Stay out of direct sunlight; apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily.
- Do not use exfoliating products, retinoids, or harsh skincare until the skin has calmed.
- Mild darkening of treated vessels or pigmented spots is expected before they fade or flake off.
First Week
- Use only gentle cleansers and moisturizers.
- Avoid facials, chemical peels, waxing, or other skin treatments for at least one week.
- Protect the treated area from sun exposure with sunscreen, hats, or clothing.
- Do not pick at any crusting or scabbing—allow it to heal naturally.
Healing Timeline
- Redness and swelling: typically resolve in a few days.
- Pigmented lesions: may darken and flake off in 5–10 days.
- Vascular lesions: vessels may appear darker initially, then fade over 1–2 weeks.
- Final result: visible in 2–4 weeks, depending on the condition treated.
