Ready to erase those tiny red spots for good?

The Dermastat delivers the same precision and power as our Cutera excel V + , but in a focused tip
designed for smaller, hard-to-reach vascular and pigmented spots.

Using the 532 nm KTP laser wavelength, Dermastat precisely targets individual vessels,
angiomas, and discolorations, without damaging surrounding skin and with minimal downtime.
It’s ideal for patients who want to clear visible red or purple spots quickly and comfortably.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Dermastat work?

Dermastat uses a small, flat-tip contact crystal that delivers high-precision pulses of laser energy
directly into visible vessels or pigmented spots. The energy is absorbed by blood or pigment,
causing the targeted area to collapse and fade as the body naturally clears it.

What can Dermastat treat?

It’s perfect for treating cherry angiomas, spider veins (face or body), telangiectasias, small
vascular lesions, rosacea vessels, venous lakes, and residual redness. It can also target small
brown pigmented spots in select cases.

How many treatments will I need?

Many patients see improvement after one session, though some require 2–3 treatments, spaced
4–6 weeks apart, for complete clearance depending on vessel size and density.

What is the downtime?

Downtime is minimal. You may experience mild redness, swelling, or darkening of vessels for
1–3 days. Makeup can usually be worn the next day, and you can return to normal activities
immediately.

When will I see results?

Treated vessels and angiomas often lighten or disappear within 7–14 days. Pigmented spots
darken slightly before naturally flaking or fading over 1–2 weeks.

Is it painful?

Most patients feel brief “snaps” of heat as the laser pulses, but discomfort is minimal and no
anesthesia is required.

Is it safe for all skin types?

Dermastat is best suited for lighter to medium skin tones (Fitzpatrick I–III). We evaluate each
patient to ensure the safest wavelength and settings for your complexion.
